This adapter is specifically for the Thule 9034XTR bike rack, it provides for an additional 2 bikes, giving a total capacity of 4 bikes. The 9036XTB T2 is built to the same specifications as the 9034XTR, giving you the best quality available in this expander.
Like the 9034XTR rack, each bike can be locked with an additional integrated cable lock and knob. It uses the same frame free ratcheting arm mechanism, so no damage can occur to frames of any kind. The bike accommodation flexibility remains the same also, with the ability to secure bikes with wheel diameters from 20 to 29 inches and tire widths up to 5 inches, and no additional straps or adapters needed.
