New, optimized design with large friction surface for more brake power and less brake fading. By reducing the vibrations of the disc during braking, the noise was also reduced.
The rounded edges on the top of the disc minimize the risk of injury and comply with the guidelines of the UCI cycling association. As a further advantage, they facilitate the running of the wheel, because the rounded upper side prevents tilting in the brake caliper.
